Description Use the modem auto-answer command to set the answering mode to
auto-answer.
Use the
undo modem auto-answer command to restore the default, or
manual answer.

This command takes effect on the AUX port and other asynchronous interfaces
only, and cannot be applied to the Console port.

Parameter time: Timeout time in the range 1 to 60 seconds.
Description Use the
modem timer answer command to set the timeout interval spent
waiting for the carrier signal after the off-hook action when setting up an
incoming call connection.
Use the
undo modem timer answer command to restore the default, or 30
seconds.
