View FTP client view
Parameter None
Description Use the
ascii command to set the file transfer mode to ASCII for the FTP
connection.
FTP provides two file transfer modes: ASCII and binary. To transfer text files, use
the ASCII mode; to transfer program files, use the binary mode.
By default, the file transfer mode is ASCII.
Example # Set the file transfer mode to ASCII.
[ftp] ascii
200 Type set to A.
