1502 CHAPTER 93: IPV6 PIM CONFIGURATION COMMANDS

Parameter interval: Hello interval in seconds, with an effective range of 1 to 2,147,483,647.
Description Use the
timer hello command to configure the hello interval globally.
Use the undo timer hello command to restore the default setting.
By default, hello messages are sent at the interval of 30 seconds.
Related command: pim ipv6 timer hello.
Example # Set the global hello interval to 40 seconds.

[Sysname] pim ipv6
[Sysname-pim6] timer hello 40
timer join-prune (IPv6 PIM view)
Syntax timer join-prune interval
undo timer join-prune
View IPv6 PIM view
Parameter interval: Join/prune interval in seconds, with an effective range of 1 to
2,147,483,647.
Description Use the
timer join-prune command to configure the join/prune interval globally.
Use the undo timer join-prune command to restore the default setting.
By default, the join/prune interval is 60 seconds.
Related command: pim ipv6 timer join-prune.
Example # Set the global join/prune interval to 80 seconds.
