The Users pane is displayed.
The list includes three columns: User Name, Authorization Level and Disabled.
The User Name is the login name used by the user to connect to the MCU.
The Authorization indicates the Authorization Level assigned to the User: Administrator,
Administrator Read-only, Operator, Chairperson or Auditor.
Disabled indicates whether the user is disabled and cannot access the system unless
enabled by the administrator. For more details, see "Disabling a User” on page 15-6.
Locked indicates whether the user has been locked out and cannot access the system
unless enabled by the administrator.
In Ultra Secure Mode (ULTRA_SECURE_MODE=YES), Users can be automatically
disabled or locked out by the system when they do not log into the RMX application for
a predefined period or if their login session does not meet Enhanced Security
requirements. Users can be manually disabled by the administrator. For more details,
see "User and Connection Management in Ultra Secure Mode” on page 15-8.
Adding a New User
Administrators can add new users to the system.
To add a new user to the system:
1 In the RMX Management pane, click the Users ( ) button.
2 The Users pane is displayed.
3 Click the New User ( ) button or right-click anywhere in the pane and then click New
User.
The New User Properties dialog box opens.
The User Name and Password must be in ASCII.
