This displays the results of sampling. Here you can
edit the sample, and assign it to a pad or partial.

Explanation of each area
1.
Wave window
Displays the sampled waveform.
2.
Sample Name
Indicates the name of the sample.
3.
Sample Channel
Displays the number of channel of the sample
(Mono/Stereo).
4.
Start Point / End Point
Specify the points at which the sample will start
playing and stop playing. The Start Point - End Point
region is highlighted.
5.
BPM Base Note
Draws measure and beat lines on the displayed
sample.
Range: x 1~
x 4
~x 65535
BPM Base Note parameter is valid only when you
select Audio phrase in the SAMPLING MENU
screen.
6.
Truncate
Deletes the portions of the sample before the Start
Point and after the End Point.
Range:
Off
, On
If you save with Truncate turned Off, the sample
will be saved without these portions being deleted.
However, this Start Point and End Point will be
applied to the corresponding partial parameters.
7.
Normalize
Raises the overall level of the sample without
allowing the maximum level to be exceeded.
Range:
Off
, On
Normalizing will extend the dynamic range (the
difference between the minimum and maximum
levels). This will help improve the precision of
waveform editing.
