A012 Cal Fail - Too
High
Calibration
procedure failed
due to flow
through the
sensor.
Fault Yes No Ensure that there is no flow
through the sensor. Check
for pipe stress at sensor.
Then retry. See Calibration
alarms.
Cycle power to the
flowmeter, then retry. See
Calibration alarms.
A013 Cal Fail - Too
Noisy
Calibration
procedure failed
due to flow
through the
sensor.
Fault Yes No Ensure that there is no flow
through the sensor. Check
for electromechanical noise.
Sources of noise include:
• Mechanical pumps
• Pipe stress at sensor
• Electrical interference
• Vibration effects from
nearby machinery
Then retry. See Calibration
alarms.
Cycle power to the
flowmeter, then retry. See
Calibration alarms.
A033
(1)
Tube Not Full No signal from
LPO or RPO,
suggesting that
sensor tubes are
not vibrating.
Fault Yes Yes Verify process. Check for air
in the flow tubes, tubes not
filled, foreign material in
tubes, or coating in tubes.
A100 mA 1 Saturated Process variable
assigned to
primary mA
output is outside
configured limits.
Info Yes
(2)
No See Output saturation
alarms.
A102 Drive Overrange No tube vibration
or erratic tube
vibration.
Info Yes No Ensure that sensor tubes are
unobstructed. Purge tubes if
necessary.
Ensure sensor is full of
process fluid.
Ensure sensor is free to
vibrate.
Verify sensor configuration.
See Section 7.3.3.
Ensure that flow rate is within
sensor limits.
A105 Slug Flow Slug flow
detected in
process.
Info Yes No See Slug flow alarms.
A110 Freq. Out
Saturated
Process variable
assigned to
frequency output
is outside
configured scale
limits.
Info Yes
(2)
No See Output saturation
alarms.
