The figure below shows some of the possible configurations for an SNMP manager for
connecting GXTXCC to the triggering CentricStor on the basis of a trap:

– In the case of configurations in which there is an external connection between
GXCC and an InfoBroker (shown here in blue), an RMT license is required in
the relevant CentricStor.
– The InfoBroker accepts a maximum of two local connections. It is irrelevant here
whether the X11 server runs within CentricStor using the local console or out-
side CentricStor on a workstation.
