VIDEO ANALYTICS
Cameras that are attached to an Endura intelligent encoder (NET5301TI) that are capable of analyzing video display the Video Analytics tab. If the
Video Analytics tab is not displayed, and you have selected a camera that is attached to such an encoder, verify that you have installed the
correct software to enable this feature. If necessary, contact your system administrator or a Pelco product support representative for further
instructions.
Figure 114. Camera Setup: Video Analytics Tab
Use this tab to configure the settings for each video analytics behavior. Similar to motion detection, video analytics lets you define zones within
which the camera interprets a complex set of events and displays the results on a monitor.
Each camera can be assigned a single profile with a single behavior. You can add, edit, copy, and delete a profile. The remaining configuration
options vary depending on which behavior you assign to a profile. Each behavior requires a separate license before you can set it up. The
NET5301TI supports several optional behaviors. Refer to the configuration manual for each behavior for specific instructions on configuring a
behavior.
For information on running behaviors, refer to Working with Video Analytic Behaviors on page 52.
