Managing Roles
A role is a set of permissions that determine which devices, services, and interface features a user may access. In Endura, users may be assigned
multiple roles. The WS5000 provides four default roles but allows you to create an unlimited number of roles.

USING A DEFAULT ROLE
The WS5000 comes with four preconfigured roles. You may use these roles, edit them to create your own roles, or create new roles from scratch.
Since each role has access to different system features, you may want to assign each user to one or more roles. Refer to Managing Users on
page 121 for information on assigning default roles to users.
