DECODERS
An Endura decoder (NET5301R) converts MPEG-4 video and audio streams back into video and audio output for viewing on a composite, S-video,
or VGA monitor. The NET5301R can display up to four streams simultaneously at a variety of resolutions. The decoder supports three alarm inputs
and one relay output, as well as bidirectional audio and activity detection. The NET5301R can be designed as a stand-alone device or as a
VCD5000 with up to four decoders connected to a PC board for multistream decoding.

To configure a decoder:
1. Click the Setup button .
2. Click the Devices tab.
3. Click the decoder you want to configure. The settings for the selected decoder appear on the screen. If necessary, click the Identify button
to identify the hardware for the decoder you have selected.
4. Enter a user-friendly name for the decoder.
5. Assign a location to the decoder. Refer to Configuring Individual Devices on page 88.
