Includes parameters that control video output format and
on-screen display appearance.
Background Gray, Black
Determines the background color of Setup menu screens when
resume or stop mode is activated. The video output signal appears
behind Setup menu screens when playback or pause mode is
activated.
Video Adjust Start
Opens the Video Adjust bar shown above, which can be used to
make exact, detailed adjustments of video settings such as
luminance (YNR), chrominance (CNR), mosquito (MNR), and black
(BNR) noise reduction, as well as sharpness, white, black, gamma,
hue, and chroma levels. Refer to the Video Adjust parameter
descriptions that begin on the next page for more information.
Note:
The remote control VIDEO ADJ button can also be
used to open the Video Adjust bar.

The loaded disc might cause the Video Adjust
bar to exceed on-screen display margins. If this
occurs, close the Video Adjust bar and remove
the loaded disc from the disc drawer. Then,
open the Video Adjust bar again.
