Center Speaker Present, Not Present
Indicates the presence or absence of a center speaker. When
Present is selected, the RT-10 passes center channel signals to the
Center analog audio output connector. When Not Present is
selected, the RT-10 redirects center channel signals to the Front L/R
analog audio output connectors.
The Center Speaker prompt is associated with the Audio2 tab
Speaker Setting option, which can be used to set speaker sizes and
distances.
Surround Speakers Present, Not Present
Indicates the presence or absence of surround speakers. When
Present is selected, the RT-10 passes surround channel signals to
the Surround L/R analog audio output connectors. When Not
Present is selected, the RT-10 redirects surround channel signals to
the Front L/R analog audio output connectors.
The Surround Speakers prompt is associated with the Audio2 tab
Speaker Setting option, which can be used to set speaker sizes and
distances.
Analog Jacks (continued)
The Analog Jacks prompt is associated with the Audio2 tab Audio
Out parameter (3-16). The Analog Jacks prompt and Audio Out
parameter settings have no effect when the RT-10 is not using the
analog audio output connectors.
Note the following:
• The Analog Jacks prompt and Audio Out parameter can be
used to select the desired audio output format as long as a
compatible audio track is selected on the loaded disc. Refer to
page 4-7 for information about audio track selection.
• When the Analog Jacks prompt is set to 2 Channel, the Setup
Navigator proceeds to the Digital Jack prompt (next page).
When set to 5.1 Channel, the Setup Navigator proceeds to the
Center Speaker prompt (next column).
