Select MPEG if the associated component is compatible with
MPEG sources. The RT-10 will pass MPEG signals directly to the
associated component. Select MPEGPCM if the associated
component is not compatible with MPEG sources. The RT-10 will
convert MPEG signals to PCM before passing them to the
associated component.
The MPEG Out parameter is associated with the Setup Navigator
Digital Jack prompt (3-7). The MPEG Out parameter and Digital
Jack prompt settings have no effect when the RT-10 is not using the
digital audio output connector.
Digital Out On, Off
Activates and deactivates the RT-10 digital audio output connector.
Select On to activate the digital audio output connector. Select Off
to deactivate the digital audio output connector.
Linear PCM Out (continued)
The Linear PCM Out parameter is associated with the Setup
Navigator 96kHz PCM Audio prompt (3-8). The Linear PCM Out
parameter and 96kHz PCM Audio prompt settings have no effect
when the RT-10 is not using the digital audio output connector.
Note:
The RT-10 always downsamples 192 and 176kHz
signals to 96 and 88.2kHz before passing them to
the associated component, regardless of the Linear
PCM Out parameter and Setup Navigator 96kHz
PCM Audio prompt settings.
