VFO selection
VFO is an abbreviation of Variable Frequency Oscilla-
tor, and is commonly referred to as a main tuning func-
tion.
The main dial is often called the “VFO knob.”

Selecting VFO-A/VFO-B
In VFO mode, push to toggle VFO-A and
VFO-B.
•“ ” or “ ” appears when VFO-A or VFO-B is
selected, respectively

VFO equalization
In VFO mode, push and hold for 1 sec. to
set the undisplayed VFO frequency and mode to
those of the displayed VFO.
Three beeps sound when the VFO equalization is com-
pleted.

BASIC OPERATIONS
Selecting VFO/memory mode
Push to switch between VFO and memory
modes.
•“ ” or “ ” appears when in VFO mode, or the
selected memory channel number appears when in
memory mode.
Pushing and holding for 1 sec. transfers the
contents of the selected memory channel to VFO.
