Chapter 7 Installing Internal Options
When installing two expansion cards on PCI slot 1 and 2, insert a card into PCI slot 2 first, then
insert other the card into PCI slot 1.
If a card has already been inserted into slot 1, remove it. Insert a card into slot 2 first, then
insert another into slot 1.
8 Insert the expansion card removed in Step 5 into slot 1 again.
9 Securely install the card locking frame to the connector, and fix it by tightening
the screws.
10 Connect the cables disconnected in Step 3.
11 Install the top cover and return the server back to its original position.
12 Set and confirm the system resource information.
On the [Advanced] menu of the BIOS Setup Utility, set and confirm the following items.
• Set [Reset Configuration Data] to [Yes].

• Make sure that the [PCI IRQ Line n (n is 0 to 1)] is [Auto] on the PCI Configuration submenu.

■ How to Remove an Expansion Card
To remove the expansion card, simply reverse the installation procedures.
