Password
This opens a separate window that allows the administrator and user passwords to be
changed.

NOTES: • An administrator password must be entered before creating a user password.
• Leave the elds blank in the Administrator or User section if you do not wish
to create an administrator or user password.
• Passwords have a 12-character limit and are case-sensitive. Characters that
are not permitted include” /”,”\”,”|”, “(space)”, and “*”.
• If the DVS 605 is password-protected, a user name entry is required for
connection. Enter admin for administrator-level access or user for
user-level access. These user names must be entered in lowercase characters.
• After entering the appropriate user name, enter the associated password in
the Password field.
To change the administrator password:
1. Enter the desired administrator password in the Administrator Password field.
2. Re-enter the administrator password in the Confirm Password field.
3. Click Save.
To create or change the user password.
1. Enter the desired user password in the User Password field.
2. Re-enter the user password in the Confirm Password field.
3. Click Save.
Standby Mode
This opens a separate window that allows the user to set the power mode (full or low).
Click the applicable mode. A check mark
appears alongside the selected mode.
Standby state disables all video input processing and all video outputs to save energy
when the DVS 605 is not in use.
