Hardware Menu
NOTE: This menu is available only for devices that are
connected live.
This menu has nine options: Unit Information, Reset Device,
Device Name, Connection Settings, Date and Time, Password,
Standby Mode (Full Power and Low Power), Mute Video and
Sync, and Executive Mode (Unlock front panel, Lock front panel,
and Limit front panel).
Unit Information
This opens a dialog box which displays information about the connected device.
Reset Device
This opens a separate window and allows the user to reset the unit in one of three modes.
For detailed information on the different reset modes, (see Reset Device page) and the
“SIS Communications and Control” section.

1. Click the radio button for the reset mode desired and then click the Save button.
2. A confirmation dialog box opens. Click Yes to confirm, or No to abort the action.
Device Name
This opens a separate window displaying the current device name. This option allows the
user to change the device name.
To change the name, type in a desired name and click Save.
NOTE: If the name is deemed invalid, an error dialog will show. Reenter the name.
The name may be up to 24 alphanumeric characters in length, without spaces.

Click Reset to clear the name field of any name and return to the default unit name.
Click Save.
Click Cancel to exit without changes. The previous name is retained.
