Editing an MD

2 Press MD D.SKIP on the remote
repeatedly until the button of the
desired MD lights green.
If the MD appears in the slot, press 6 to
load the MD (to the recording/playing
unit).
3 Press MENU/NO so that
“Edit Menu” appears.
4 Turn MULTI JOG until “All Erase ?”
appears, then press ENTER/YES.
“All Erase??” appears.
5 Press ENTER/YES again.
“Complete!!” appears for a few seconds
and the disc title, all recorded tracks and
their titles are erased.
To cancel the All Erase Function
Press p for the MD.
To return to the condition before
erasing
You can return to the original condition
immediately after erasing tracks (see
page 61).
Erasing a portion of a
track (A-B Erase Function)
You can specify a portion within a track and
erase the portion with ease. You can shift the
desired portion by frame*, minute or second
intervals. This function is convenient when
erasing unnecessary sections after recording a
satellite broadcast or FM broadcast.
* 1 frame is 1/86 second.
Example: Erasing a portion of track 2.
1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly to
switch the function to MD.
2 Press MD D.SKIP on the remote
repeatedly until the button of the
desired MD lights green.
If the MD appears in the slot, press 6 to
load the MD (to the recording/playing
unit).
3 Press MENU/NO so that
“Edit Menu” appears.
4 Turn MULTI JOG until “A-B
Erase ?” appears, then press
ENTER/YES.
