Multiple Key Combinations and Default Key Layout
The multiple key combinations on the SoundPoint IP 450 desktop phone are as
follows:
• Rebooting the Phone—Press and hold Message, Mic Mute, Volume-, and
Volume+ simultaneously until a confirmation tone is heard or for about
three seconds.
• Restoring Factory Defaults—Press and hold the 4, 6, 8, and * dial pad keys
simultaneously during the countdown process in the bootROM until the
password prompt appears. Enter the administrator password to initiate
the reset. Resetting to factory defaults will also reset the administrator
password (factory default password is 456).
• Uploading Log Files—Press and hold Up, Down, Left, and Right arrow
keys simultaneously until a confirmation tone is heard or for about three
seconds.
