To increase the bass or treble:
The bass or treble sound can be increased to up to +6
dB in steps of 1 dB.
To decrease the bass or treble:
The bass or treble sound can be decreased up to –6 dB
in steps of 1 dB.

Press the ENTER or SURROUND PARAMETER
button to complete the setting.

Press the ENTER button.
• The surround parameter menu reappears.
2 Adjusting the tone from the main unit

The tone switches as follows each time the button is
pressed.

The bass or treble sound can be increased to up to +6

The bass or treble sound can be decreased up to –6 dB
in steps of 1 dB.
2 Tone defeat mode
• If you do not want the bass and treble to be adjusted, turn
on the tone defeat mode.
Press the TONE DEFEAT button to turn on the
“Tone Defeat” mode.
The signals do not pass through the bass and treble
adjustment circuits, providing higher quality sound.
