Setting the IEEE1394 Auto Function
• Set whether or not to automatically play the IEEE1394
device when it is selected with the FUNCTION knob.

“IEEE1394 Auto Func.” at the “Audio Input
Setup” menu, then press the
ENTER button.
• The “IEEE1394 Auto Func.” screen appears.

button to select
“ON” or “OFF”.

Press the ENTER button to enter the setting.
• The “Audio Input Setup” menu reappears.
OFF:
Select this if you do not want to automatically play
the device.
ON:
Select this to automatically play the device.
In some cases settings may be required on your player.
Also refer to the player’s operating instructions.
Tuner Presets
2 Auto Preset Memory
• FM stations are received automatically and stored in the
memory.

“Tuner Presets” at the “Audio Input Setup”
menu, then press the
ENTER button.
• The “Tuner Presets” screen appears.

button to select
“Auto Preset Memory”, then press the
ENTER
button.
• Switch to the “Auto Preset Memory” screen.

Press the CURSOR
FF
button to select “Yes”.
• “Search” flashes on the screen and searching
begins.
• “Completed” appears once searching is completed.
• The display automatically switches to the “Tuner
Presets” screen.
• If an FM station cannot be preset automatically due to poor
reception, use the “Manual tuning” operation ( page 66)
to tune in the station, then preset it using the manual
“Preset memory” operation ( page 66).
