MAINTENANCE FUNCTIONS
These topics cover procedures for backing up and removing files.
Backing up Files
It is a good idea to back up your address book, templates and
mailboxes on a client PC. This makes them available to restore
later or upload to another controller.
Note: Depending on the amount of information stored, the
process of creating a backup file may take several minutes.
1 On the Administration tab, click the Maintenance submenu.
2 Click the Backup link.

3 Click Create New File.
If you previously created a backup file, TopAccess displays,
“An old backup file exists in the controller. Do you want to
replace it?”
4 Click OK to delete the previous backup file and create a new
backup file.
Click
Cancel to use the previous backup file as it is.
