5 In the Device Name field, enter the controller name.
6 Enter the controller’s Workgroup.
7 Enter the address of the Primary WINS Server.
8 Enter a WINS Scope ID for the controller.
9 To set the controller as a master browser, click the
Master
Browser
drop-down list and select Enable.
10 Click
Save.
Configuring AppleTalk Settings
1 On the Administration tab, click the
Setup subtab.
2Click the
Wireless Network link.
The Wireless Network page opens.
3 In the AppleTalk area, click the
Protocol drop-down list.
4 Select
Enable to enable AppleTalk.
5 Enter the AppleTalk Zone string.
6Click
Save.
Configuring the Wireless NIC Settings
1 On the Administration tab, click the
Setup subtab.
2Click the
Wireless Network link.
The Wireless Network page opens.
3 In the General area, enter the controller’s SSID.
4 Select the Network Type from the drop-down list.
5 If required, check
Use WEP Security and Set WEP key.
The WEP Encryption, WEP Key and Authentication fields
are enabled.
6 Select the type of WEP Encryption from the drop-down list
box.
7 Enter the WEP Key as 5 or 13 sets of hex characters.
8 Select the Authentication mode from the drop-down list box.
9 Enter the identifier of the Default Access Point as 6 sets of
hex characters (Infrastructure network type only).
10 Enter the Channel number (Ad Hoc network type only).
