4 Press NAME EDIT/ CHARACTER

you want appears.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes as follows:

5 Move the multi stick toward v or V
repeatedly until the desired character
appears.
6 Move the multi stick toward b or B.
The cursor shifts to the left or right and waits
for the input of the next character.
7 Repeat steps 4 through 6 to complete
the entire title.
If you made a mistake
Move the multi stick toward b or B
repeatedly until the character you want to
change flashes, then repeat steps 4 through 6.
To erase the character
Press CLEAR while the character is flashing.
8 Press PUSH ENTER to complete the
labelling procedure.
To cancel labelling
Press x.
Tip
You can label each preset station using the “TUNER
Set Up ?” menu.
1 Follow steps 1 through 2 on page 77.
2 Press MODE SELECT repeatedly to select “Set
Up Mode”, then press PUSH ENTER.
3 Move the multi stick toward b or B repeatedly to
select “TUNER Set Up ?”, then press PUSH
ENTER.
4 Move the multi stick toward b or B repeatedly to
select “TUNER Name?”, then press PUSH
ENTER.
5 Follow steps 4 through 8 on the left.
To erase the station name
1 Follow steps 1 through 3 on page 77.
2 Press CLEAR repeatedly to erase all characters.
3 Press PUSH ENTER.
To check the preset number and
frequency
The station name appears when you tuned in the
labelled station. To check the preset number and
frequency, press DISPLAY. The preset number
and frequency are displayed for 4 seconds and it
returns to the station names display.
