3 Move the multi stick toward b or B
repeatedly to select “MD Edit ?”, then
press PUSH ENTER.
4 Move the multi stick toward b or B
repeatedly to select “REC Setup ?”,
then press PUSH ENTER.
5 Move the multi stick toward b or B
repeatedly to select “Level Adjust ?”,
then press PUSH ENTER.
The recording source and the recording level
appears.
6 Move the multi stick toward b, B, v,
or V repeatedly to adjust the recording
level.
The recording level can be adjusted from
dB to +18.0 dB. Adjust the recording
level so as not to light up “OVER” in the
display at the strongest sound.
To reset to the factory settings, press
CLEAR.
7 Press PUSH ENTER.
The adjustment is completed. Start recording
if the recording is paused.
To cancel the menu operation
Press MODE SELECT.
Tip
The recording level can be adjusted for each function,
and the adjusted level is saved for each function.
Note
If the recording level is adjusted during recording, the
newly recorded sound differs in quality from the
previously recorded sound.
Adjusting the recording
level
You can adjust the recording level when the
recorded sound is too soft or too strong. You can
adjust and save the recording level for each
recording source (function).
Note
When Synchro Recording, the recording level is
automatically set to 0.0 dB regardless of the recording
level you have set.
1 While recording or in recording pause,
press MODE SELECT repeatedly to
select “Set Up Mode”, then press PUSH
ENTER.
2 Move the multi stick toward b or B
repeatedly to select “MD Set Up ?”,
then press PUSH ENTER.
