Recording on an MD
To change the trigger level for
Level Synchro Recording
Follow the procedure below to change the signal
level that triggers Level Synchro Recording.
1 Press MODE SELECT repeatedly to select “Set
Up Mode”, then press PUSH ENTER.
2 Move the multi stick toward b or B repeatedly
to select “MD Set Up ?”, then press PUSH
ENTER.
3 Move the multi stick toward b or B repeatedly
to select “MD Edit ?”, then press PUSH
ENTER.
4 Move the multi stick toward b or B repeatedly
to select “REC Setup ?”, then press PUSH
ENTER.
5 Move the multi stick toward b or B repeatedly
to select “LS(T)”, then press PUSH ENTER.
6 Move the multi stick toward b or B repeatedly
to select the level, then press PUSH ENTER.
You can set the level at any value between
–72 dB and 0 dB, in 2 dB steps.
7 Press MODE SELECT.
Tip
When adjusting the signal level, press CLEAR to
return to the default setting (–50 dB).
To cancel automatic track
marking
1 Perform steps 1 through 5 on page 44.
2 Move the multi stick toward b or B repeatedly
to select “Off”, then press PUSH ENTER.
When “L-SYNC” goes off, a track number is
marked only at the beginning of each recording.
Note
The track numbers are not marked even if the
Level-Synchro Recording is set to on, if the noise
increases while recording from radio or tape.

specific point while recording

You can mark track numbers at any time while
recording, regardless of the type of sound source.
, Press MD REC while recording at the
point you want to add a track mark.
A track mark is added in that location.
