Switching the tag display
It is possible to turn the tag display on or off, if
MP3/WMA disc contains the text information
such as track title and artist name.
! If you turn the tag display off, time to play-
back will be shorter than when this func-
tion is turned on.
1 Press FUNC and NEXT and then press
T.READ to select the tag display mode.
2 Press T.READ to turn tag display on.
# Toturn the tag displayoff, pressT.READ
again.
Note
When you turnthe tag display on, thisunit re-
turns to the beginningof the current track in
order to readthe text information.
Using disc title functions
You can switch text display such as artist
name and track title. When the text is longer
than 32 letters, you can scroll the text to the
left so that the rest of the title can be seen.
1 Press TITLE to switch the title mode.
2 Press the corresponding button to dis-
play the desired title.
FORM1 and FORM3

FOLDER Displays foldername.
FILE Displays filename.
ALBUM Displaysalbum title.
T.TTL Displaystracktitle.
ARTIST Displays trackartist name.
SCROLL Scrolls thedisplayed title.
FORM2

F+FIL Displays folder nameand filename
FIL+T Displays filename andtrack title.
ALB+T Displaysalbum titleand tracktitle.
TR+ART Displays track titleand trackartist name.
SCROLL Scrollsthe displayedtitle.
Notes
! If you do notoperate the function within about
eight seconds, thedisplay is automatically re-
turned.
! You cannotuse a/b/c/d to select afolder or
track in title mode.
! When you selectthe display FORM2, the titles
are displayed upto 24 letters long.
! If specific information has not beenrecorded
on a MP3/WMAdisc, No xxxx will bedis-
played (e.g., Noalbum tilte).
! With someapplications used to encode WMA
files, album namesand other text information
may not becorrectly displayed.
