2 Press and hold c or d to search every
10 track in a disc.
# If a disc containsless than 10 tracks, pressing
and holding drecalls the last track ofa disc.
Also, if theremaining number of tracks after
searching every 10 tracks areless than 10, press-
ing and holdingd recalls the last trackof a disc.
# If a disc containsless than 10 tracks, pressing
and holding crecalls the first track ofa disc.
Also, if theremaining number of tracks after
searching every 10 tracks areless than 10, press-

disc.
Entering disc titles
Disc title input lets you input CD titles up to 10
letters long and up to 48 disc titles into this
unit.
If you input a CD title, the entered title is dis-
played. For details of operation, refer to Enter-
ing disc titles on page 36 under Multi-CD
Player.
Notes
! When playing aCD TEXT disc, if you switchto
this mode, Cant input isdisplayed and you
cannot input the title.
! Titles remain in memory, evenafter the disc
has been removedfrom this unit, and are re-
called when thedisc is reinserted.
! After data for 48discs has been stored in
memory, data fora new disc will overwrite the
oldest one.
! If you connect a multi-CD player, you can
input disc titlesfor up to 100 discs.
Using disc title functions
When playing a CD TEXT disc, you can switch
text display such as artist name and track title.
When the text is longer than 32 letters, you
can scroll the text to the left so that the rest of
the title can be seen.
1 Press TITLE to switch the title mode.
2 Press the corresponding button to dis-
play the desired title.

SCROLL Scrolls thedisplayed title.
FORM2

Notes
! If you do notoperate the function within about
eight seconds, thedisplay is automatically re-
turned.
! You cannotuse c or d to selecta track in title
mode.
! When you selectthe display FORM2, the titles
are displayed upto 24 letters long.
! A CD TEXT discis a CD featuring recorded
text information suchas disc title, artist name
and track title.
! If specific information has not beenrecorded
on a CD TEXT disc, No xxxxwill be displayed
(e.g., No artist name).
! If no titlehas been entered for the currently
playing disc, Notitle is displayed.
