Switching the XM channel
select mode
You have two methods for selecting a channel:
ALL CH mode and CATEGORY mode.
When selecting ALL CH mode, channels in
any category can be selected. Select
CATEGORY mode to narrow your search down
to only channels in a particular category.
% Touch MODE to select the desired chan-
nel select mode.
Touch MODE repeatedly to switch between
the two modes.
ALL CH (all channel select mode)
CATEGORY (channel category select setting)
Switching between the
detail information display
and preset list display
You can switch the left side of the basic screen
according to your preference.
% Touch LIST.
Touch LIST repeatedly to switch between the
followings:
Detail information displayPreset list display
OFF
Storing and recalling
broadcast stations
If you touch any of the preset tuning keys P1
to P6 you can easily store up to six broadcast
stations for later recall with the touch of a key.
1 Select the channel that you want to
store in memory.
2 Touch LIST to display the preset list.
# When the touch panelkeys are not displayed,
you can display themby touching the screen.
3 Touch and hold a preset tuning key P1
to P6 until the XM preset number stops
flashing.
The number you have touched will flash in the
XM preset number indicator and then remain
lit. The selected station has been stored in
memory.
The next time you touch the same preset tun-
ing key P1 to P6 the station is recalled from
memory.
Notes
! Up to 18 stations,six for each of three XM
bands can be storedin memory.
! You can also use aand b to recall stations
assigned to preset tuningkeys P1 to P6 when
the ALL CH modeis selected.
