Setting the date and time
Using its internal clock, this unit remembers the date and time
when a le is recorded.
1 Press the MENU key to open the
MENU
Screen.
2 Use the §/BROWSE and ¶/MIC buttons to select
DATE/TIME
, and press the Á or ¯ button.
3 Use the Â/¯ buttons to move the cursor, and use
the VALUE (+/–) buttons to change values.
4 Press the Á button to confirm the change and return
to the MENU screen.
NOTE
You can set the unit to automatically add the date and time to
le names. (See “Setting the le name format” on page 85.)
CAUTION
The date and time setting can only be maintained for a
few minutes when the unit is not powered by batteries,
USB bus power or an AC adaptor. When using batteries, we
recommend that you replace or recharge them before they
completely lose power.
