MD – Editing
Checking the titles
1 Press GROUP on the remote in stop
mode repeatedly until the GROUP
indicator lights up.
2 Press GROUP SKIP on the remote
repeatedly until the desired group
appears, then press SCROLL on the
remote.
The title appears scrolling in the display. To
stop scrolling, press SCROLL on the
remote. Press the button again to resume
scrolling.
Erasing the titles
1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch
the function to MD.
2 Press GROUP on the remote in stop
mode repeatedly until the GROUP
indicator lights up.
3 Press MENU/NO on the remote.
4 Press l or L (or . or > on
the remote) repeatedly until “Nm
Erase?” appears, then press ENTER/
YES on the remote.
5 Press GROUP SKIP on the remote
repeatedly until the desired group
number appears, then press ENTER/
YES on the remote.
“Complete!” appears.
Note
You cannot erase the title of a group that does not
have any tracks registered.
Registering recorded
tracks into a new group
— Create Function
This function allows you to create a new group
and register a track or consecutive tracks which
are not yet registered into that group.
1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch
the function to MD.
2 Press GROUP on the remote repeatedly
until the GROUP indicator lights up.
3 Press MENU/NO on the remote to
display “Edit Menu”.
4 Press l or L (or . or > on
the remote) repeatedly until “Gp
Create?” appears, then press ENTER/
YES on the remote.
5 Follow the same procedures as from
step 3 to 6 of “Labelling an MD” on
page 30.
6 Press l or L (or . or > on
the remote) repeatedly until the first
track number you want to register
appears, then press ENTER/YES on the
remote.
7 Press l or L (or . or > on
the remote) repeatedly until the last
track number you want to register
appears, then press ENTER/YES on the
remote. (When registering only one
track, simply press ENTER/YES on the
remote again without performing any
other operations.)
“Complete!” appears.
