Labelling a group
— Name Function
You can input a total of approximately 1,700
characters for the disc title, track titles and
group titles on a single MD.
1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch
the function to MD.
2 Press GROUP on the remote repeatedly
until the GROUP indicator lights up.
3 Press GROUP SKIP on the remote
repeatedly until the desired group
appears.
4 Press NAME EDIT/SELECT on the
remote while the total number of tracks
within the desired group is displayed.
The cursor starts flashing.
5 Follow the same procedures as from
step 3 to 6 of “Labelling an MD” on
page 30.
Note
If you enter the symbol “//” between the characters in
disc titles such as “abc//def”, you may be unable to
use the Group Function.
Notes
• You can label a track title during play. The
playback repeats until you finish labelling.
• If you enter the symbol “//” between the characters
in disc titles such as “abc//def”, you may be unable
to use the Group Function.
Checking the titles
To check the disc titles, press SCROLL on the
remote in stop mode. To check the track title,
press SCROLL on the remote during play. The
title appears scrolling in the display. To stop
scrolling, press SCROLL on the remote. Press
the button again to resume scrolling.
Erasing the titles
1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch
the function to MD.
2 Press MENU/NO on the remote in stop
mode.
3 Press l or L (or . or > on
the remote) repeatedly until “Nm
Erase?” appears, then press ENTER/
YES on the remote.
4 Press l or L (or . or > on
the remote) repeatedly until the desired
title appears, then press ENTER/YES on
the remote.
“Complete!” appears.
