Loading an MD
Insert an MD.
With the label side up, and the
shutter on the righthand side
With the arrow
pointing toward
the deck
Before inserting an MD
When the system is on, make sure the MD icon
does not appear. If it does, it means an MD is
already loaded. Press Z MD to remove the
MD.
No display
(Normal Play)
Playing an MD
— Normal Play/Shuffle Play/Repeat
Play
This system lets you play the MD in different
play modes.
Track number Playing time
1 Press FUNCTION repeatedly to switch
the function to MD.
2 Press PLAY MODE/DIRECTION (or
PLAY MODE on the remote) in stop
mode repeatedly until the mode you
want appears.
Select To play
The tracks on the MD in
original order.
SHUF
(Shuffle Play)
All tracks on the MD in
random order.
PGM
(Programme Play)
The tracks on the MD in the
order you want them to be
played (see “Programming
MD tracks” on page 17).
3 Press MD NX.
