PROGRAMMABLE FUNCTION (PF) KEYS
1 Press [MNU] to enter Menu mode.

Alternatively, you can skip steps 1 to 3. With the
transceiver power OFF, press and hold the
programmable function key you want to program
(PF1 ~ PF4) while turning the transceiver power ON.
Continue from step 4 to program the key.
Note:
◆ Without an optional VS-3 unit installed or with OFF selected in
Menu 1–2–4 (VOICE), pressing the PF key programmed with
Voice causes the transceiver to announce the current frequency
using beeps of different frequencies.
◆ To restore the default functions, perform a Full Reset {page 39}.
