Examples — To delete the trace log, type the following command:

clear trace Deletes running trace commands and ends trace processes.
Syntax — clear trace {trace-area | all}
■ trace-area — Ends a particular trace process. Specify one of the
following keywords to end the traces documented in this chapter:
■ authorization — Ends an authorization trace
■ dot1x — Ends an 802.1X trace
■ authentication — Ends an authentication trace
■ sm — Ends a session manager trace
■ all — Ends all trace processes.
Defaults — None.
