Turning the phone
functions off or on
As indicated previously, your phone will turn
on when you install the battery and insert a
SIM card. However, you can choose to turn
off your phone and just use the PDA
features at any time – and then turn it back
on when you want.
Note
: In many countries you are required by
law to turn off your phone when you fly.
Turning off the screen of your phone
doesn’t actually turn off your phone;
you must turn off your wireless
connection to your operator’s network.
To turn off the phone functions:
1. Tap and then
Phone
. will appear
on the status bar of the screen.
2. Tap
Done
.
To turn back on the phone functions:
1. Tap and then
Phone
. will appear
on the status bar of the screen.
2. Tap
Done
.

: You can also turn the phone functions
off or on by tapping the
Start
menu
→
Settings
→
Connections
tab
→
Wireless Manager
.
Using the Dialling screen
When you press or tap the
Start
menu
→
Phone
, the Dialling screen opens. You can
view the last call you have dialled, received,
and missed on the screen.
Customising the Dialling screen
You can change a font colour and font style
for the numbers entered while dialling.
