Accessing information from the
Today screen
From the Today screen, you can view:
• the current time and date
• the status of the network connection or
Bluetooth
• photo contacts
• unread SMS or MMS messages
• tasks that need to be completed
• upcoming appointments
• the phone lock status

Appears when a new e-mail or
SMS message has been
received.
Appears when a new MMS
message has been received.
Appears when a voice call is in
progress.
Appears when a data call is in
progress.
Appears when there is a call you
have missed. Tap to view the
details of the missed call.
Appears when there is a call on
hold.
Appears when more status
icons need to be displayed than
there is room to display them.
Tap to view all of status icons.
