Playing MDs
4 Repeat step 3 to enter other tracks.
5 Press YES.
Complete!! appears and the program is
completed.
6 Press PLAY MODE repeatedly until
PGM lights up in the display.
7 Press N (or NX on the deck).
Program Play starts.
To stop Program Play
Press x (or x/Z on the deck).
To resume normal play
Press PLAY MODE repeatedly until PGM turns
off.

You can change the program
number of a track
If you press m while 0 is flashing, the number of
the last track in the program will begin to flash. You
can change the number at this time. You can also
change the number by pressing CLEAR to clear the
current number, and then entering the new number.

The program remains even after
Program Play ends or is stopped
Press N (or NX on the deck) to play the program
again.
Notes
If you eject the MD or disconnect the AC power
adaptor, the program will be lost.
The display shows - - - . - - when the total playing
time of the program exceeds 999 minutes.
•“ProgramFull! appears when you program 25th
track.
Creating Your Own
Program
(Program Play)
You can pick out the tracks that you like and
specify the playback order in a program
containing up to 25 tracks.

Programming the tracks
1 While the deck is stopped, press
MENU/NO twice.
Setup Menu appears in the display.
2 Press ./> repeatedly (or turn
./> on the deck) until Program
? appears, then press YES (or ./
> on the deck).
3 Press ./> repeatedly (or turn
./> on the deck) until the track
number you want to add to the program
appears, then press M (or ./>
on the deck).
If you entered the wrong track
number
Press m/M repeatedly until the wrong
track number flashes, then do step 3 above
again.
To check the total playing time
of the program
Press DISPLAY.
