Installation and Connection of
Height Speakers
Using the Height Speakers
We recommend you to add Height speakers in order to
ensure full effects of Aolby Atmos listening mode. There
are several types of Height speakers. Refer to "Installation
Method of the Height Speakers by Type".

Dolby recommends “Top Front” or "Top Middle" type to
obtain the best Dolby Atmos effect.
Connection: Connect the Height speakers to SPEAKERS
BACK or HEIGHT terminals of the unit, regardless of the
type of Height speakers.
Installation Method of the Height Speakers by
Type
Front High
Install Front High speakers on the upper part of the
front wall as shown in the figure.
Change the setting: Press RCV and then HOME on the
remote controller, select "Setup" - "2. Speaker Setup" -
"Speaker Settings" and set "Height Speakers Type" to
"Front High".
Top Front
Install the Top Front speakers in the position around
the middle of just above the listening position and just
above the front speakers as shown in the figure. Use
Ceiling speakers as the Top Front speakers.
Change the setting: Press RCV and then HOME on the
remote controller, select "Setup" - "2. Speaker Setup" -
"Speaker Settings" and set "Height Speakers Type" to "Top
Front" as shown in the figure.
