OPERATING THE ZR-6 MULTIZONE RECEIVER
iPod FUNCTIONS
1. When the iPod is active
in the zone, the “iPod-
Now Playing” screen is
displayed. The currently
playing song, artist, and
album information will
also be displayed.
• When selected, the
iPod begins playing
the last-played song in
repeat mode.
• If the iPod is
disconnected from the
system (unplugged
from the cable), the
“iPod Disconnected” screen will be displayed.
2. Press the < and > keys to select the previous or next song
in the play queue.
3. Press the Play/Pause/Select key to toggle between play
and pause.
4. Press the Shuffl e soft key to toggle the Shuffl e (random)
mode on and off.
iPod MENU OPERATION
Only one user can access the iPod
menu at a time. If a user tries
to access the iPod menu while
it is being used by another, the
“iPod Menu In Use” screen will
be briefl y displayed, and then the
“Now Playing” screen will return
after a few seconds.
1. Press the Menu soft key to access the iPod main audio
navigation menu. These menus are generated by the iPod
and have the same functionality as the iPod’s internal
menus. At any time, press the < key to return to the
previous menu.
2. Press the Vol + and Vol –
keys to scroll through and
highlight the selections.
You can also press-and-
hold the Vol + and Vol –
keys to initiate a variable
scrolling speed—the
longer the press-and-hold,
the faster the scroll speed.
3. If necessary, press
Page
and Page
to
move up a page or down a
page (fi ve items per page).
4. Press the Play/Pause/
Select key to select the
highlighted item.
iPod SEARCH FUNCTIONS
1. While in a searchable menu, press the iPod key to initiate
the iPod search function.
• The letter “A” will be
displayed in large text.
• Press the Vol + and
Vol – keys to scroll
through the alphabet
and the “#” symbol
(the # symbol selects
all menu items that don’t begin with a letter, e.g. “99
Tears”).
• When the desired letter or the # symbol is displayed,
press the Play/Pause/Select key. The screen will jump
to the menu items beginning with that letter (or when
the # symbol is displayed, the items that don’t begin
with a letter). This deactivates the search mode and
reactivates the normal scrolling operation.
NOTE: THE iPod SEARCH MENUS DISPLAYED ON THE
SOLO-6MD ARE GENERATED BY THE CONNECTED iPod.
TO CHANGE THEM, THEY MUST BE CHANGED IN THE iPod
