PROGRAMMING THE REMOTE
SETTING UP THE ZONE KEYPADS
2. Select the source to be adjusted. The source will start
playing in the zone. The source level adjustment screen for
the selected source will be displayed. Adjust the source by
touching the + and buttons. Range is from 0 to 7. The
default level is 0.
3. Adjust all the sources so that they have the same apparent
volume in the zone.
ZONE TURN-ON VOLUME
By default, each zone will turn on at the last played volume level.
Initially, this level is set to 60%. If preferred, each zone can be
confi gured to always turn on at the same volume level, regardless
of the last played volume.
To set the zone turn-on volume:
1. The most commonly
used source should
be playing in the zone.
Select “Turn On
Volume” from the main
confi guration menu.
The Turn On Volume
confi guration screen will be displayed. The level bar and the
+/ buttons will be grayed out.
Back” returns to the previous menu. “Exit” returns to the
Now Playing screen.
2. “Last Volume used is the default mode. To change this to a
predetermined level, touch the “Last Volume” button. The
preset level bar will appear as functional.
3. Set the preset turn on volume level by touching the + and
buttons until the desired level is set.
4. To restore the last volume used mode, press the “Last
Volume” button. The level adjustment bar will become
unavailable.
ROOM NAMES
The TS-Pro allows the installer to custom name the zones in the
system. For ease of use, the zones are referred to as “Rooms”. As a
default, each Room is numbered from 1 through 18. Only the rooms
available for a system will appear. That is, with a one chassis sys-
tem, only rooms 1 – 6 will appear; with a two chassis system only
rooms 1 – 12 will appear; and
with a three chassis system, all
18 room names will appear.
It is recommended that any
unused zones be made blank
by naming them with a blank
space so that they will not
appear on the touch screen
menu.
To name the rooms:
1. Select “Room
Names” from the main
confi guration menu.
The Room Naming
confi guration screen will
be displayed.
Back” returns to the
previous menu. “Exit
returns to the current
device main screen.
2. Select the Room
to be named. The
alphanumeric screen will
be displayed. To edit the
room name:
a. Touch the letter
buttons on the screen
to enter the desired
room name.
Touch “?123” to display the numbers, “ABC” to display
the capital letters, and abc to display lower case letters.
Default returns to the Default room name.
b. Enter the desired preset name (up to 10 characters).
c. Touch “Save” when completed. This will save the custom
name in the proper location and return to the Confi guration
- Room Names screen.
NOTE: WHEN SAVING ROOM NAMES, THE SYSTEM MUST RESTART TO
PROPAGATE THE NAMES TO ANY OTHER TS-PRO TOUCHSCREENS ON
THE SYSTEM. THIS PROCESS TAKES APPROXIMATELY FIVE SECONDS.
ALL CURRENTLY ACTIVE ZONES WILL TURN OFF.
