The built-in tuner can store up to twenty presets in any combination
of AM or FM stations. In Master/Slave confi gurations, each
tuner could store different presets providing a system total of 60.
However, each keypad can only operate the tuner in the ZR-6
MultiZone Receiver to which it is connected, so each zone has
access to 20 presets.
TO STORE PRESETS IN THE TUNER:
Press the Band button to choose between AM or FM. The display
will show AM or FM to indicate the current band along with the
current station [AM560].

Press the + or button to tune to the desired station. Each press
and release will increment the tuner frequency up or down. A press-
and-hold initiates the seek function. The tuner will move up or down
to the next station with a clear signal. Continuing to hold the button
will cause the tuner to pause at any station for 3 seconds before
seeking the next station. Releasing the button will stop the seek
function and the tuner will remain on the last tuned station.

Once the desired station is displayed, press-and-hold the Set
button for 2 seconds. The display will change to [PRESET XX
SAVE] where XX is the next available open preset.

Press the + or buttons until the desired preset location is
displayed (01 – 20). It will always stop at the fi rst available blank
preset. Press the + or button to overwrite any previously saved
preset.

NOTE: IF THE SELECTED PRESET ALREADY HAS A STATION ASSIGNED,
IT WILL BE OVERWRITTEN AND THE NEW STATION WILL NOW BE
STORED IN THAT PRESET LOCATION.
Press-and-hold the Set button for 2 seconds. This will save the
station in the displayed preset location. The ZR-6 MultiZone
Receiver will return to normal operation. The display will show the
station and the preset.

Repeat these steps until all desired stations are preset or the
available twenty presets are fi lled.
Presets may be erased one of two ways: by storing a new preset
in the location; or by entering confi guration mode and electing to
erase all presets (see “
Erasing Tuner Preset Information
”).
