OPERATING THE ZR-6 MULTIZONE RECEIVER
MISCELLANEOUS
1. During a page, the active Master key will blink fast if the
zone is enabled to receive a page.
2. Should the ZR-6 MultiZone Receiver experience a fault
(overheating, speaker short, etc.), all Source keys will blink.
The zone may or may not continue to play music, depending
on the type of fault detected. The front display on the ZR-6
MultiZone Receiver will provide more detailed information
(see the “
Troubleshooting
” section).

THE NUMERIC-6P ACCESSORY KEYPAD
The Numeric-6P Accessory Keypad is only used with the Solo-6IR
Master Keypad. By itself, it has no functionality. The Numeric-6P
adds the convenience of direct access when operating a satellite
TV tuner, iPod, music server, CD/DVD changer, AM/FM tuner or
any other component that uses a numeric address. Its keys change
function each time a new Master key is selected on the Solo-6IR.
ADDITIONAL RADIO FUNCTIONS
1. When the built-in AM/FM radio is playing, pressing the FAV
key and then any of the numeric keys (two digit inputs such
as 01,02,10, etc) will directly access any of the 20 available
preset stations on the ZR-6.
2. When the built-in AM/FM radio is playing, directly access
the frequency of an available station by entering the station
number using the 0-9 keys.
ADDITIONAL iPod FUNCTIONS
1. When the iPod is playing, press the FAV key and then 1-10
on the numeric keys to directly access the fi rst ten available
iPod Playlists (if any are programmed in the iPod). Use two
digit inputs such as. 01, 02 03, 10, etc.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS FOR SOURCES 3-6
Pressing any of the function keys on the Numeric-6P will issue
the IR commands that were programmed for those keys. Some
examples would be:
1. Pressing the Disc key to change to the next pre-loaded disc
on a CD/DVD changer.
2. Pressing the Repeat key to activate the repeat mode in
appropriate devices such as a CD/DVD changer
3. Pressing the Shuffl e key to activate random song playback
from appropriate devices.
4. Using the numeric keys 1-9 to access a radio or television
station. An Enter key is supplied for devices that require
pressing enter after entering the numbers.
