obtain files from Norton AntiVirus that contain the latest virus
protection. If you don’t, you are not protected against viruses that have
been released into the computer world since you bought the product.
Windows 95: Create Norton AntiVirus Rescue Disks to help recover from
a virus emergency.
WHY? Rescue disks are an important part of your virus protection for
Windows 95. For example, they allow you to safely restart your computer
if it is halted due to a virus in memo. See “Windows 95: Create rescue
disks” on page 14-7.

Every time you start your computer, Norton AntiVirus Auto-Protect lets
you know it is working. The Auto-Protect icon in the lower-right corner
of the taskbar on your Windows desktop reminds you that you are fully
protected against virus infection.
