Cueing/digital scrub
Cueing
In the cueing mode, you can cue forward or backward at up to three times the normal
speed.
<Note>:
The maximum cueing speed depends on the recording Fs/bit of a play-
back disc.
During playback, you can cue forward or backward by pressing the [F FWD] or [RE-
WIND] key.
To return to the normal playback, press the [PLAY] key.
Digital scrub
The digital scrub function allows you to scrub audio.
When the recorder is stopped, pressing the [PLAY] key while holding down the [STOP]
key enters the scrub mode, and the display changes to show the waveform screen as
below. In this mode, you can scrub forward or backward in 10 milliseconds step using
the [MENU] dial.
<Note>:
Cueing is possible in “ALL PLAY”, “SINGLE PLAY” and “PROGRAM PLAY”
mode.

To exit the scrub mode, press any one of the [STOP/HOME] key, [PLAY]
key, [EXIT/NO] key and [ENTER/YES] key. If you exit the scrub mode by pressing
the [ENTER/YES] key, the time data at the scrub point (pointed by
on the
waveform screen) is stored to the [LOCATE/
EDIT TIME
] key. Therefore, pressing the
[LOCATE/
EDIT TIME
] key locates the scrub point.
