6–Basic Recording
Selecting the input source
This unit has two input channels (INPUT A and INPUT
B) that can be selected separately as input sources.
The built-in microphones (front panel MIC A and
MIC B) and external input signals (input through
the rear panel INPUT A and INPUT B connectors) can
be selected as input sources. Mic, line and guitar
signals can be input through the INPUT A channel.
The MIC/LINE–GUITAR switch on the left side panel
must be set accordingly. Moreover, the sensitivity
can be set when using the built-in mics.
1 When the transport is stopped and the Home
Screen is open, press the INPUT SETTING key to open
the
INPUT SETTING
screen.
Use the
IN A
and
IN B
items to set the input sources
for the INPUT A and INPUT B channels.
2 Use the F3 (§) and F4 () keys to select the
IN A
or
IN B
setting, and turn the DATA wheel to select the
input source.

: built-in MIC A (low sensitivity)
INT.MIC A-Mid
: built-in MIC A (middle sensitivity)
INT.MIC A-High
: built-in MIC A (high sensitivity)

connector)

3 After changing the setting, press the HOME key to
return to the Home Screen.
