Automatic Music Sensor
Operation
When you press the 4 or ¢ button
during playback or in the stop mode,
playback will start from the beginning of
the desired selection.
When it is pressed in the pause mode, the
deck enters the pause mode at the
beginning of the designated selection.
Press the 8PAUSE or 3 (play) button to
resume playback.
For this operation, the start ID codes must
be written on the tape.
For how to write the start ID, see page 30.
To locate the selection ahead
Press the ¢ button. Each pressing
advances the tape to the next selection in
sequence.

To designate five selections ahead, press
the ¢ button five times.
a) The number of time you pressed ¢ is
displayed
When the designated selection is located,
playback resumes.
To locate the previous selection
Press the 4 button. Each pressing
moves the tape to the previous selection in
sequence.

To designate three selection back
(excluding the selection being played),
press the 4 button four times.
a) The number of time you pressed 4 is
displayed
When the designated selection is located,
playback resumes. The display returns to
the counter display.
When designating the selection being
played back by pressing 4 once, "–0"
appears.
You can designate a selection by
pressing the numeric buttons, instead of
pressing the
