You can record a preset radio station from a
specified time.
To timer record, you must first preset the radio
station (see “Presetting radio stations” on
page 62) and set the clock (see “Setting the
clock” on page 12).
1 Tune in the preset radio station (see
“Listening to a preset station” on
page 63).
2 Press CLOCK/TIMER SET.
3 Press . or > repeatedly to select
“REC SET?”, then press ENTER.
4 Press . or > repeatedly until the
timer number (e.g., “REC 1”) you want
to set appears, then press ENTER.
5 Press . or > repeatedly until the
desired type of timer appears.
• ONCE?: The timer activates only once.
• DAILY?: The timer activates at the same
time every day.
• WEEKLY?: The timer activates at the
same time on the set day of every week.
6 Press ENTER.
When you select “ONCE?” or
“WEEKLY?” in step 5, the day of the week
indication flashes.
Proceed to step 9 when you select
“DAILY?” in step 5.
7 Press . or > repeatedly to set the
day of the week that the timer activates.
8 Press ENTER.
The hour indication flashes.
9 Set the time to start recording.
Press . or > repeatedly to set the
hour, then press ENTER.
The minute indication flashes.
Press
. or > repeatedly to set the
minute, then press ENTER.
10 Set the time to stop recording following
the same procedure as step 7 to 9.
11 Press . or > repeatedly to select
“MD” or “TAPE”, then press ENTER.
12 When you record on an MD, press .
or > repeatedly to select the
recording mode (e.g., “LP2”), then
press ENTER.
The timer recording settings appear, then
the original display returns.
13 Load a recordable MD or tape.
14 Press ?/1 to turn off the system.
