Displaying the
Audio Menu screen
To customize the audio settings, display the
Audio Menu screen.
1 Press MULTI-CONTROL to display the
function select screen.
= For details, refer to Screen switching over-
view on page 70.
2 Turn MULTI-CONTROL to select
Audio Menu.
3 Press the center of MULTI-CONTROL.
The Audio Menuscreen appears.

Shows which source has been selected.

Using balance adjustment
You can select a fader/balance setting that
provides an ideal listening environment in all
occupied seats.
1 Display the Audio Menu screen.
= For details, refer to Displaying the
Audio Menuscreen on this page.
2 Turn MULTI-CONTROL to select Fader.
p If the balance setting has been previously
adjusted, Balance will be displayed.
3 Press MULTI-CONTROL up or down to
adjust front/rear speaker balance.
Each time MULTI-CONTROL is pressed up or
down, the front/rear speaker balance moves
towards the front or rear.
Front15to Rear15 is displayed as the
front/rear speaker balance moves from front to
rear.
Setting Front and Rearto 0 is correct
when using a two speaker system.
When Rear SP:S/Wis selected in S/W Con-
trol, front/rear speaker balance cannot be ad-
justed.

4 Press MULTI-CONTROL left or right to
adjust left/right speaker balance.
Each time MULTI-CONTROL is pressed left or
right, the left/right speaker balance moves to-
wards the left or right.
Left15 to Right15 is displayed as the left/
right speaker balance moves from left to
right.
Using the equalizer
The equalizer lets you adjust equalization to
match vehicle interior acoustic characteristics
as desired.
Recalling equalizer curves
There are six stored equalizer curves that you
can easily recall at any time. Here is a list of
the equalizer curves:
Equalizer curve
SuperBass
SuperBass is acurve in whichonly low-pitched
sound is boosted.
Powerful
Powerful is acurve in whichlow-pitched and high-
pitched sounds areboosted.
Natural
Natural is acurve in whichlow-pitched and high-
pitched sounds areslightly boosted.
