Sound Adjustment
Creating a personal
audio effect file
— Personal file
You can create a personal file of audio patterns
(surround effect and graphic equalizer) and store
them in the memory of the unit. The personal files
can later be used when you listen to a favorite
tape, disc, or radio program. You can create up to
five audio files.
Before operation, first select the audio effect you
want for your basic sound.
3 Press B or b repeatedly to select “P File
Memory”, then press ENTER.
The personal file number appears in the
display.
4 Press B or b repeatedly to select the file
number (P FILE 1~5) where you want
to store the sound effect.
5 Press ENTER.
The adjusted sound effects are stored under
the selected file number. The settings
previously stored at this memory location are
erased and replaced by the new settings.
To cancel the menu operation
Press MODE SELECT.
To call up the personal file
Press FILE SELECT repeatedly until the file
number you want to use appears.
Tips
The sound effects you store are retained for half a
day even if you unplug the power cord or if a power
failure occurs.
While in the DVD function, only the graphic
equalizer is stored.
